The beta is the app, for now
Match Cut hasn't reached the App Store yet, so the public beta is the only way to use it. It runs through Apple's TestFlight, and new builds arrive every week or two with notes describing what changed.
Beta builds can have rough edges. That is the point: what you run into now is what gets fixed before anyone else sees it.
How to join
- Install TestFlight from the App Store on your iPhone.
- On that same iPhone, tap the "Join the beta on TestFlight" button below, then tap Accept.
- Install Match Cut from TestFlight. New builds update through TestFlight automatically.
Good to know
Your library lives on your device, so nothing you record in the beta is sent anywhere. The privacy policy applies to test builds exactly as it does to released ones.
Beta software is beta software. Settings, then Export Library, writes everything you have recorded to a file you keep, and it is worth doing before you install a new build.
When Match Cut reaches the App Store, the beta carries on alongside it for anyone who wants new features early.

Most useful to hear about: anything that feels slow, any suggestion whose stated reasoning doesn't hold up, and anything you expected to find and couldn't. Please include your iOS version and the app's version and build number, which are in Settings under About.
